Urban Oufitters Summer Sale

Checking my email account on Saturday morning I was delighted to discover that Urban Outfitters had launched their Summer sale a couple of days earlier. I quickly scanned their website but decided to pop into Cabot Circus, Bristol to see what bargains I could find.

Urban Outfitters is one of a few stores that displays their sale in an organised and sophisticated way. The reduced garments are pulled into one sale area but are cleverly matched together in purchasing suggestions identical to the way that their full price is presented. I enjoy shopping from their sale department as I always get a pleasant surprise  when I think an item I love is full price but is actually half the price. I love their subtle way of presenting sale as many other stores use sale rails, which can become messy and difficult to shop from. Urban Outfitters offers an inspiring and creative solution to a sale department that can be overbearing.

Of course I immediately spotted that the some of the vintage Levi shorts were reduced to £15. I am a huge fan of Levi shorts, so I excitedly started to rummage through. I have been after a pair of shorts in a darker shade for a while. I found a pair that fit perfectly! It was definitely meant to be! They have already become my go to item after only owning them for two days. Maybe you could find a pair too. Here are a few other items I loved from the sale (I might go back and get them soon).

I have a pair of high-waisted jeans I could team this red crop top with : )

This floral dress will look so cute for a Summer picnic.

Make sure you take a trip to your nearest Urban Outfitters or shop the sale online Here. Trust me you won't be disappointed!!

Bye for now,

Fancy Frilly Knickers at Flo-jo Boutique

There are many reasons why I spend most of my free time wandering down Gloucester Road in Bristol. The charity shops become more intriguing, the independent coffee shops become friendlier and the vintage shops and boutiques become more interesting and creative. I have recently discovered another cute little boutique that has opened along the unique and inspiring road.

Put your jewellery in a place you'll always see it...

I always bang on about how important accessories are - jewellery is the easiest accessory to add to convert the most basic outfit to a fabulous creation.

Many of my clients forget to put it on because it's hidden away or not conveniently placed to get to in the morning rush. So you can imagine my surprise when I recently visited this client who has created a fabulous way to store her extensive jewellery collection.

Made from simple pieces of furniture such as a CD Tower and Bathroom Cabinet, Ms R added a few screw-in hooks here and there with a touch of wallpaper/giftwrap to customise it to her liking. All very Blue Peter, but a simple and effective way of displaying your jewellery in an area you will always see it and never forget to put it on.

If you have an unusual or creative way of displaying your jewellery, send your images and ideas to: mail@theimageconsultingcompany.co.uk

In the meantime, be inspired...
