PFW... adore Dior or a lean toward McQueen?

So with the current fashion week hype taking over every corner of the industry, it could be considered difficult to keep up with it all. However, whilst Paris has produced numerous show stopping displays there have been two that people cannot stop talking about. Much was expected from the Dior SS14 collection and creative director Raf Simons did not disappoint. On the other hand Sarah Burton's presentation for McQueen was considered one of her strongest yet. With both in a position of setting trends rather than following, the key ones to surface from Dior were edgy florals, bold slogans and 'head girl' influenced emblems. Meanwhile McQueen went for an early twentieth century twist, providing Mondrian inspired geometrics, Picasso like colourways and mixed feminine textures. Look out for these as they filter down onto the high street next summer...

Be sure to take a look at the other shows to identify the key trends you will be wearing next season...
